Shadou Mintrone received her early training from a tiny vaudeville school in southwest Florida. She graduated from University of the Arts (Philadelphia, PA) with a BFA in Jazz Dance Performance, in 2011. Company credits go to Zane Booker's SLJ Arts Initiative (Philadelphia) Brian Sanders' JUNK (Philadelphia), and Spectrum Dance Theater (Seattle) under the direction of Donald Byrd. She's been seen on stage at 5th Avenue Theater (Oklahoma!, Carousel) and on the creative teams for Village Theater (In the Heights), ArtsWest (American Idiot), and Balagan Theater (Spring Awakening). Shadou has danced with The Can Can Kitchen & Cabaret, Verlaine/McCann Presents and Paulanow Events (Seattle), Gunnar Montana (Philadelphia), and 7Doors (New York). She has toured nationally and internationally, teaching and performing.
