(Cali, Colombia,) After graduating from the 2 years training program at ‘Estudio de Actores’ (Actors Studio), Juan Camargo started dancing at the Ballet Santiago de Cali. Later on, Juan moved to Bogota to start his studies in musical theater at Misi Musical Theatre School and Company, where he also performed 3 seasons with the second company. He moves to New York City after obtaining a full scholarship at the Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive in 2015 performing works by Robert Joffrey, Gerald Arpino and Africa Guzman. He participated in Heart’s of Men Intensive directed by Earl Mosley, where he met Christopher Rudd for the first time. Currently, Juan is enrolled at The Ailey School in the scholarship program, in the school he has performed works by Luis Salgado and Juan Carlos Padilla at The Ailey Spirit Gala in the David Koch Theatre. He also can be seen performing for Awaken Dance Theatre directed and "Pajarillo pintao’ ." Mr. Camargo joined RudduR Dance as an apprentice on October 2015 and performs for the first time with the company at Dance Gallery Festival on November of 2016.
