Ezra Swift started dancing at the age of four with Chunky Harrigan’s Afro-Cuban dance troupe in California. At age 12, he was enrolled in the Enola D Maxwell school, where he studied ballet and jazz daily. In 2006, he received a full scholarship to attend the LINES Ballet Children’s Division, where he studied ballet and tap, earning a full scholarship to the two year pre-professional program in 2010. He guest performed several times with the Company in "Triangle of Squinches." In fall 2013, he attended the independent study program at The Ailey School and had the honor of working with Matthew Rushing on the Armory Project. Currently he is guesting with various companies in the New York City metropolitan area including Springs Dance Theater. This is Mr. Swift’s first engagement with RudduR Dance and he is excited to join the Company on its tour to Burkina Faso, Africa.
