(Upland, California) Dominica Greene began her training at the age of four at Village Dance Arts in Claremont, California, where she studied tap, jazz, and classical ballet under the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, completing the examinations all the way to the advanced level. She attended all four years of high school at Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, where she studied Horton, Dunham, and Graham, and was fortunate enough to learn and perform two of Jiří Kylián’s most notable works. She received an Honorable Mention in Modern Dance from the National Young Arts Foundation in 2012, just before graduating high school. She earned her BFA from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, performing works by Lucinda Childs, Merce Cunningham, Twyla Tharp, and José Limón during her time there. Shortly after graduating in 2016, she attended Springboard Danse Montreal, where she met and worked with some of the most influential dancers and choreographers of today. She loves the work that Christopher Rudd is doing, and is honored to have joined RudduR Dance for their tour to Burkina Faso.
